Faces of Rap Mothers Film and Reality Show, slated for 2023 release, has our friends, associates, affiliates, members, sponsors, and fans really looking forward. Our film is certain to deliver an engaging and fun Friday Night Popcorn type result . . . perhaps more!  Walter Franks, III – a seasoned veteran filmmaker – is our director and scriptwriter. Actor Omar Gooding is joining in the fun as we move our no-to-low budget film among like-minded industry veterans are pitching in to create something that can benefit community and Faces of Rap Mothers as we strive to raise the bar in 2023.

KINGTHARAPPER, Face of Rap Mother’s Owner Candy’s son, received invitation as a board executive for Universal Studio Pictures Entertainment. He has been Universal Music Group’s (UMG) producer. Not to be outdone, Candy’s daughter, HONEY with her vocal group “X”, has the #1 requested song in the United Kingdom. X collaborated with Jon Jon of Troop gaining a qualitative result.

She talks to her Mom, and her History Teacher about racism to better understand where it evolved, then she prays about it and decides to continue to dream and hope for change for a better tomorrow as she still continues to fight for what’s right peacefully all while still loving her family and her multicultural friends.
This story will teach all ages, genders and nationalities about racism and it seeks to inspire us all to unite and love one another despite the color of our skin.

 

Tymeka Coney is an actress, producer, director, playwright, poet, songwriter, voice-over and now activist with the release of her new children’s picture book, “I Don’t Like Racism,” which was inspired by the police brutality she has witnessed in the world and first hand. Tymeka’s first book was “Words Unspoken: Volume I-Deeper Than Eyes Can See,” poetry book released in 2011. She also has a Spoken Word album, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Dreams,” available on Amazon and her recent extended single “COVID 19- Social Distancing,” also on Amazon.
She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and now resides in Los Angeles, California where she gives back to the community by teaching young people how to read and write and acting.

BACKGROUND:
The inspiration for the story came from Sandie’s beloved father who worked in various psychiatric hospitals during short periods of his career. Though fiction, many parts of the book intertwine the patient routines, treatments and outbursts that she learned from her father and other research in a way that makes the story vivid through Jeannie’s perspective.
